Why do credit card companies love to pimp college students

Really that is a easy question to answer. The reason is simple, it’s the same reason why there are so many strippers working the poles to pay there way to school. The answer is college is expensive and you’re going to need money to live.

This is also many people’s first time being on there own and they haven’t learned how to manage there money well yet.

So, you’re break ass college student and a fly ass credit card pimp whispering sweet nothings about the things you can get (honest baby we got low rates, buy now pay later) and promise of cool swag.



A’ight so you get a credit card saying to you’re self you ain’t going on needless junk and just to pay for things like rent, textbooks, food. You know the crap you need.

But lets be real odd are your going to at some point use that card for something that is more a want to a need and then something else and after you are using the card for everything. Those T.I tickets, charge it. That 360 game? Ring me up. A lapdance from that chick in you’re math class? Put it on the card. Where those that leave you? Broke (but at least that stripper’s happy)

Which is why students should think twice before singing up for that credit card.

Of course you can flip the script a bit and pimp something out of the credit card companies. The credit card companies send countless reps hawking swag for those who sign up for a credit card. All you have to do is sign up with a few key typos (in your SS number, name, address etc) and you get free stuff.
